About the Porch

We believe that the best meals start with the best ingredients – and that means fresh and local. On our rooftop, we nurture an annual garden so that we can use fresh-picked herbs and produce in our kitchen everyday. In addition, our roof is also the home to several bee hives, which help to give us a great supply of honey. We’re also proud to partner with local producers & distributors like Penn’s Corner Farm Alliance and Wild Purveyors. You can check out some of our other local partners here.

We like to say that The Porch changes pace throughout the day like the neighborhood we are in.
Breakfast: Though our dining room isn't open for breakfast, you can pick up breakfast sandwiches, housemade pastries, espresso, cappuccino, and $1 coffee, roasted specially for us by our friends at Coffee Tree Roasters. Available Monday-Friday beginning at 7:00 AM at our walk-up window, located along Schenley Drive.
Lunch: Grab a menu and don’t forget to check our specials board for daily features. Next, get in line and we’ll take your order and payment at the counter. Once we’ve given you a table number, grab your favorite spot and we’ll deliver your food within minutes. If you need anything, just ask one of our friendly team members. When you’re full, get up and go… we’ll take care of the clean up. No tips necessary!
Brunch/Dinner: Expect full service hospitality. When you visit us after a long day or even on a lazy weekend morning, there is nothing better than sitting back, relaxing, and letting someone else do all the work. Whether you prefer to sit in the bar, in the dining room, or outside on our patio, our team will take care of you from the moment you’re welcomed at the front door. 

As a matter of fact we do - we’ll accept your Panther Funds, Pitt Dining Dollars, or Plaid Ca$h.

For a $15 corkage fee, we will be happy to serve your wine (which by the way would go perfectly with our 10 Oz. New York Strip Steak!)

If you join us at our bar or on the porch weekdays between 4:30-6:30 PM, we offer $5 wine (select varieties) and $2 off all drafts.
