We serve meals that make us happy; food that we love to cook AND eat! Our menu is an eclectic mix of familiar foods with things that are altogether surprising and new. You should really check out our menus to see what we are talking about.
Absolutely. Everything, and we mean EVERYTHING on our menu is made in house. Chef Kevin is constantly looking for the best purveyors, farmers, and artisans to partner with. He will even grow items for the menu on our rooftop in season!
The Porch is a casual spot, so feel free to come as you are… especially if you are wearing a shirt and shoes.
We like to say that The Porch changes pace throughout the day like the neighborhood we are in. So our service style changes as well.
Lunch: Grab a menu and take a look. When you have decided on what’s for lunch, one of our smiling team members will be happy to take your order and payment at the counter. Then go ahead and grab your favorite table and we’ll take it from there. We’ll deliver your food within minutes, and when you’re full, go ahead and get up and go… we’ll even clean up after you!
Dinner: Full service hospitality. We know that after a long day there is nothing better than sitting back, relaxing, and letting someone else do all the work. Whether you prefer to sit in the bar, in the dining room, or outside on our patio, our team will take care of you from the moment you’re welcomed at the front door.
Just come on by! The Porch is first come, first served, all the time. But, if you are joining us for dinner and you’re on your way, you can skip the line and add yourself to our waitlist before you even get here. Just click here!
As a matter of fact we do. So if you would like your parents to help pay for your meal, we’ll accept your Panther Funds or Plaid Ca$h.
Absolutely! We feel our menu really screams for a delicious glass of wine or cold, craft beer, so therefore, The Porch is primarily a beer and wine bar. However, in line with our philosophy of serving FOOD that makes us happy, we’ll do the same with our beverages. And sometimes, nothing makes us happier than sitting outside on our Porch with a refreshing “Almost Arnie”, made from our housemade Limoncello!
For a $15 corkage fee, we will be happy to serve your wine (which by the way would go perfectly with our rotisserie prime rib!).
Our walkup window is geared for our guests looking for something delicious but who don’t have enough time to come in and grab a seat. It’s open every weekday at 7:00 serving made-to-order breakfast sandwiches and tasty housemade pastries. We also have coffee, espresso, and cappuccino roasted specially for us by our friends at Coffee Tree Roasters. Once the weather warms up, you'll be able to swing by and choose from a selection of boxed picnic lunches to enjoy out in Schenley Plaza.
